Starting her legal career in Hong Kong with the legal aid department in 1990, Prudence was promoted to the rank of Senior Legal Aid Counsel in 1995. Before she departed that role in the same year, she was already handling complicated personal injuries claims with high amounts.

Joining Simmons & Simmons (for 7 years) and then Deacons (for another 12 years), Prudence continued to develop her practice in the handling of complicated and high amount claims many involved medical malpractice.

During the post-SARS years, Prudence assisted the Hospital Authority to defend complicated medical malpractice cases alongside with the handling of other complicated general insurance defence matters, until the collapse of a motor insurance company when she took co-charge of the timely handling of a huge portfolio of claims cases with another Partner of the firm, Katherine.

Bringing with her the over two decades’ dynamic and in-depth experience defending medical practitioners and insurance companies in complicated and high amounts cases, Prudence joined this firm in February 2014, continuing to serve the General Insurance industry when at the same time expanding into handling probate, property, family and general commercial matters.
